Alex and Emma

 

 I watched the movie most probably in 2005 and for the last 20 years I have watched it many times.

It talks about the story of a hero (Alex) who is a writer but he has got stuck in life because he did terrible in his love life or love affair gone miserable for him. He entered into gambling and he owes a lot of money to some mafia who are threatening to kill him if he cannot return their money.

He goes to his publisher and asks for an advance but the publisher tells him that he has to finish writing a novel and he has only 30 days to finish because otherwise the mafia leader will send some men to kill him.

 

He cannot just write a novel in 30 days of 100,000 words. So, he hires a stenographer who is the heroine (Emma) of the movie. They embark into a journey of writing. He dictates an entire novel to the stenographer and she does it very well.

 

During the time or their work, they became attracted to each other and the hero Alex finishes an entire novel but then his ex-girlfriend comes back to his life and it breaks the heart of Emma. Anyway I like this movie because it talks about a writer and I want to write 100,000 words in a single month.
